Hotaling & Co., LLC is seeking a Manager of FP&A candidate who will play a critical role across all corporate financial planning and reporting requirements. This person will work directly with management to provide financial leadership and decision support against a growing portfolio of artisan brands.  

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Consolidate and report against business performance metrics, including GAAP financial statements and KPIs; provide timely and insightful analysis of financial results/statements
• Budget formation, forecasting and analysis across business centers and financial statements, inclusive of cashflow
• Decision support for Commercial Management in developing and delivering on brand strategies through channel & geo mix, pricing, product portfolio (NPD projects and SKU rationalization), and marketing initiatives (Promotional and Marketing)
• Provide fact-based recommendations using internal & external data, analytical tools, understanding of product life-cycle and market dynamics to improve day-to-day decisions in the best interest of brand health and profitability
• Business partner the Commercial organization to prepare and present monthly reporting package(s) across brand and geographical dimensions, including relevant activity and business levers
• Identify and communicate financial and operations risks / opportunities to senior leadership
• Scenario modeling against brand and operational investment opportunities across the organization
• Identify, create and drive adoption of reporting analytics inclusive of financial and business KPIs

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• BS or BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• [5+] years of direct, relevant experience in FP&A and/or core finance areas (Brand, Customer & Channel Development, Planning & Analysis, Cost Accounting) preferred
• Strong process and internal control orientation

• Proven system, dababase and data agility; Microsoft Dynamics, Datarails, PowerBI, Tableau and/or similar tools preferred
• Strong knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, modeling • Development and presentation of financial tools, techniques and information that aid and improve the day to day decisions
• Experience with Performance Reporting & Business Planning, as well as decision support and Ad hoc evaluation a huge plus
• Experience with internal controls also a plus
• Relevant experience in demand and supply planning for consumable goods
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and detail orientation
• True team player and self-starter with a keen sense of urgency, who likes to see the big picture and focuses on details
• Action orientation; Ability to multi-task and take accountability (i.e., knows when to ask for guidance/coaching when needed)
• Willingness and ability to grow with a fast-growing organization
• Prior industry experience a plus but not required
