    Q&C Hotel/Bar, an Autograph Collection by Marriott, is seeking a Hotel Area Sales Manager. Marriott experience is preferred, as well as knowledge of the local corporate market. As a Hotel Sales Manager, you will lead all daily sales-related functions with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable the achievement of sales objectives. This will include accountability for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, detailing and ensuring that all business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery. Responsibilities: What you'll do: • Working collaboratively with off-property channels to ensure that sales efforts are coordinated. • Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. • Consistently meeting or exceeding personal performance goals • Developing relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales activities. • Supporting the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer experience loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. • Executing and supporting the operational functions, including generating proposals, writing contracts, detailing meetings, and maintaining customer correspondence. • Identifying new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals. • Staying informed on overall market trends. • Keeping up to date with market dynamics. Qualifications: • Experience in hotel sales management, preferably within the Marriott brand. • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and community partners. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. • Strong understanding of the New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner corporate market. • Ability to work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to maximize opportunities. • Proficiency in generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence. • Excellent communication skills to deliver service excellence and drive customer loyalty. Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly
