Responsibilities: What You'll Do: • Working collaboratively with off-property channels to ensure that sales efforts are coordinated. • Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. • Consistently meeting or exceeding personal performance goals • Developing relationships within the community to strengthen and expand the customer base for sales activities. • Supporting the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer experience loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience. • Executing and supporting the operational functions, including generating proposals, writing contracts, detailing meetings, and maintaining customer correspondence. • Identifying new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals. • Staying informed on overall market trends. • Keeping up to date with market dynamics. Qualifications: • Experience in hotel sales management, preferably within the Marriott brand. • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and community partners. • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. • Strong understanding of the New Orleans-Metairie-Kenner corporate market. • Ability to work collaboratively with off-property sales channels to maximize opportunities. • Proficiency in generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence. • Excellent communication skills to deliver service excellence and drive customer loyalty. Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly
