In this key position you will be tasked with inspecting and reviewing assets while developing in depth reporting regarding the hotel condition and mechanical systems. This position does require weekly travel. Responsibilities: The Hotel Asset Evaluation Manager is responsible for ensuring the long-term value and profitability of a hotel property by overseeing its physical condition, operational efficiency, and maintenance. They work with the hotel's general manager, Vice President of Operations and other department heads to identify and address potential issues, ensuring the property meets owner expectations and industry standards. • Regularly inspect and evaluate the hotel's physical assets, including rooms, common areas, equipment, and fixtures, to assess their condition and identify any needed repairs or upgrades. • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure assets are properly maintained and in optimal working order, minimizing downtime and maximizing asset life. • Analyze financial data related to maintenance costs, capital expenditures, and operating expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. • Maintain open communication with the hotel's general manager, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on asset management priorities and goals. • Ensure the hotel property complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those related to safety, accessibility, and environmental protection. • Identify and assess potential risks related to the hotel's physical assets, such as equipment failures, natural disasters, or fire hazards, and develop mitigation plans. • Assist in the planning and implementation of capital improvement projects to enhance the hotel's physical appearance, functionality, and guest experience. • Implement and manage systems for tracking assets, inventory, and maintenance records to ensure accurate data and facilitate informed decision-making. Qualifications: • Strong knowledge of hotel operations and maintenance practices . • Experience in asset management, property management, or related fields . • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . • Strong Mechanical knowledge and or certifications. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills . • Proficiency in relevant software and technology, such as asset management systems and maintenance software. • Able to travel weekly.
