    We're searching for an experienced assistant general manager to help our general manager plan and oversee the hotel's day-to-day operations. When the general manager is unavailable, you will be in charge of supervising personnel, dealing with client problems, and ensuring that our customers enjoy a 5-star experience. A bachelor's degree in hospitality management and three years of managerial experience in the hospitality business are strongly preferred. Responsibilities: • Manage compliance with company or brand established policies and procedures and any local, state, and federal laws and regulations • Recommend improvements that will improve the hotel profitability by analyzing department performance and identifying problem areas • Create the yearly hotel budget in collaboration with the general manager and department heads, and assess and adjust performance throughout the year to stay profitable • Assist general manager in the day-to-day operation of the hotel in maintaining all standards of guest service • Deliver support to the human resources department to help them improve turnover management, employee motivation, and staff growth and retention Qualifications: • Proven customer service experience as a manager; strong guest-focused mentality • You must have a high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, or a related field • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills • A proven record of experience managing a team, preferably in a hospitality role, is required • Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in the hospitality field Compensation: $70,000 plus
