Additional Perks: • Opportunity to grow! — This position is a training position for the GM • Medical/dental/vision • 401(k) • Flexible PTO • Potential to earn additional bonuses Responsibilities: The AGM will work with the GM on a daily basis to learn, understand, and execute all management functions to eventually become a successful GM for a Rolling Hills Hospitality hotel. • Effectively hire, train, and holdthe entire hotel staff accountable with the GM’s direction • Build a strong, cohesive team while involving staff in the day-to-day operations of the hotel • Manage basic accounts payable/receivable functions, along with P&L analysis and • Control the hotel’s budget and assets, ensuring all costs are in line withthe budget • Understand and drive the hotel’s occupancy and ADR • Be constantly engaged in sales by performing calls to top accounts and new accounts from time to time • Provide great guest service and front office excellence • Assist with direct mail pieces, local advertising, account maintenance, prospecting, qualifying, and closing on all pertinent pieces of the business • Clearly understand the workings of the hotels and ensure the hotel is clean and well-maintained • Ensure all housekeeping, maintenance, and front desk tasks are successfully executed • Empower staff to take ownership of the hotel and include staff in daily decisions of the hotel’s operations Qualifications: The candidate for the Assistant General Manager of The Sire Hotel must meet the following requirements in order to be seriously considered for the role: • Minimum of 2 years of hotel management or supervisory experience • College degree preferred • Flexible schedule necessary • Individual should be energetic, determined, competitive, organized, and professional
