Responsibilities: • Document the outcome of each event to assess and make improvements on future events and processes • Develop policies, procedures, quality standards, and cost-saving measures within the department to continuously improve the customer-focused banquet area • Communicate all event orders to on-site banquet staff members, so they are aware of their roles and obligations • Ensure a quality product is provided by communicating with clients about banquet event options that match their budget, and go over any adjustments, questions, or concerns • Supervise the daily operations of the banquet are, including ordering supplies, overseeing event space set-up, and selecting staffing levels to provide an exceptional level of service Qualifications: • 3+ years managing a team in a hospitality role or equivalent culinary role • Must have excellent customer service and communication skills • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Higher education degree in hospitality or hospitality management is a plus • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service • Strong computer skills, especially MS Office (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) are needed
