    Our busy hotel is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented customer service professional to make our guests' dining experience memorable. As our breakfast attendant, you will set up the buffet daily, ensuring that fruits, bread, cereals, and bakery items are well-stocked, and break down the buffet after service. The breakfast attendant will also refill coffee and beverages as needed or when asked and remove dirty dishes and utensils. Candidates should be enthusiastic about customer service. Responsibilities: • Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner • Follow health and safety protocols to clean and sanitize service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment • Set up the breakfast buffet table and ensure fresh items are stocked and available throughout service • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage • Greet guests warmly and ensure they feel welcome and valued from the moment they arrive. • Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet with a variety of fresh and appealing options, ensuring everything is well-stocked and visually inviting. • Monitor food and beverage levels, promptly refilling items to ensure guests have everything they need for a satisfying meal. • Clear tables efficiently, removing dirty dishes and utensils to maintain a clean and pleasant dining environment. • Assist guests with any special requests or dietary needs, ensuring a personalized and accommodating experience. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and replenishment of breakfast items. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Qualifications: • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED) • Experience working in food service is preferred • Outstanding time management and organizational skills • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience Compensation: $16 hourly
