Responsibilities: Facility Maintenance: Oversee repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, and general building structures. Preventive Maintenance: Run routine inspection schedules for guest rooms, public areas, and critical equipment. Safety & Compliance: Test life safety systems, fire alarms, and emergency lights, ensuring compliance with local building and health codes. Staff Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance technicians and engineering teams. Budget & Capital Projects: Manage department expenses, track utility consumption, and plan facility improvement projects. Qualifications: Experience: Typically 2 to 5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with prior supervisory or director-level hospitality experience. Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge across multiple trades, such as electrical, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting. Certifications: Valid state or local safety certifications (such as a Fire and Life Safety Director certification) depending on regional requirements. Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly
