About the Role
We are looking for talented people who will celebrate the fabric of our city and take pride in providing amazing guest service. Showing our guests and visitors an authentic Milwaukee experience, one that merges modern style and sophisticated comfort with pure Wisconsin hospitality.
Sets up equipment and prepares food based on the business forecast / catering contracts information received.
Ability to work flexible shifts when needed.
Knowledgeable of operation of all kitchen machinery.
Possess complete knowledge of menu and recipes, including preparation procedures, plating, garnishment, portions size and presentation / special handling instructions.
Maintains first in / first out inventory controls and dates all incoming products.
Maintains a clean kitchen by cleaning all work surfaces used in food preparation on an ongoing basis, as well as the kitchen equipment used daily.
Maintains all food storage areas, dry and refrigerated, organized and clean.
Advises supervisor of low inventory items and problems related to equipment, food quality, portions, etc.
** Starting wage for this position is $13.00 - $16.00 per hour but final wage will be based on experience**

What We Are Looking For
College degree or at least five years of related work experience in business management, hospitality or related field
Previous experience as General Manager of a full-service hotel is preferred
Previous experience in Food & Beverage roles like Chef, Director of F&B, Food & Beverage Manager is preferred
Strong leadership qualities
Strong interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organized
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
