    GF Hotels & Resorts and the Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Place Hotel are hiring a Director of Finance. The Hotel Director of Finance oversees all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls to maximize profitability and safeguard assets. Key duties involve producing monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing cash flow, and providing strategic financial guidance to the General Manager and senior leadership. Responsibilities: • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, interpret, and present accurate, timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual operating budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans (CapEx). • Control & Compliance: Maintain internal control procedures, ensure compliance with corporate policies, tax regulations, and legal agreements. • Asset Management: Review daily cash positions, manage accounts payable/receivable, and safeguard the hotel's assets. • Leadership: Manage, train, and mentor the accounting team. Qualifications: • Experience: Previous experience as a Director of Finance or Hotel Controller in the hospitality industry is required. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Hotel Management. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., M3, PMS systems) and Microsoft Excel. • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to advise senior management. Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 yearly
