You will lead our housekeeping team, ensure their work meets our high standards of cleanliness, and go above and beyond guest expectations to achieve that “wow” factor for repeat business. Responsibilities: • Make sure all cleaning equipment is in good working condition and schedule repairs as needed • Hire and train housekeeping staff to perform cleaning duties and deliver customer satisfaction to our expectations • Order cleaning supplies as needed, control inventory and manage the department budget • Supervise housekeeping staff as they perform daily assignments, including cleaning all guest rooms and public areas • Document areas cleaned by room attendants and report any issues such as room damage or maintenance requests to the front office Qualifications: • At least 2+ years experience in hospitality or guest services • Well-versed in environmental services (EVS) including sanitation protocol and procedures, and how to use cleaning supplies and equipment • At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department • A High school diploma or GED is required • The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills Compensation: $17.50 - $18.50 hourly
