You will be responsible for designing our sales strategy and revenue targets, training and evaluating our sales personnel, and ensuring that we generate new and recurring business through various areas of revenue. Responsibilities: • Generate new revenue by using a targeted outbound sales strategy that includes personal calls in your network, phone solicitation to local professionals, travel agencies, and other groups or corporations • Develop and implement sales strategies that maintain high levels of occupancy and profitability through coordination with department managers • Establish strategies to assist the sales team in meeting and exceeding monthly room booking goals that are aligned with overall hotel and revenue management objectives • Evaluate information gathered from market data and create a plan to meet design marketing deliverables, hotel financial goals, and create an annual sales forecast • Organize meetings with department heads, report on sales activity for the previous and upcoming weeks, and produce a monthly expense report for all hotel sales-related expenses Qualifications: • Prior experience of 5+ years as a sales professional in a related field is required • Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel • Proven track record of sales success in lead-generation and closing skills • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required • Strong analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
