    Front Desk Manager Position: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Overtime Eligible Reports to: General Manager Location: Saratoga Arms Hotel, Saratoga Springs, NY Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead the dining experience at our 30-room boutique hotel. Our property has a fine dining, farm-to-table breakfast restaurant, curated cocktails, evening small plates, and private events in a welcoming, intimate setting. The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of service, team management, and guest satisfaction, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to friendly luxury and authentic hospitality. Responsibilities: Operations & Service • Manage daily F&B operations including breakfast service, cocktail program, evening small plates and private events. • Ensure consistent quality, presentation, and timing of food and beverages. • Oversee menu planning in collaboration with the chef, focusing on seasonality and guest preferences. • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations. Leadership & Staff Development • Recruit, train, and schedule F&B staff, ensuring excellent service and teamwork. • Lead pre-shift briefings to communicate daily goals and guest needs. Conduct performance reviews and training sessions. • Provide coaching and feedback to create a culture of accountability and hospitality. Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Guest Experience & Engagement • Greet and interact with guests, fostering memorable experiences and personalized connections. • Address guest concerns promptly and graciously, turning challenges into opportunities. • Promote hotel offerings such as seasonal specials, packages, and events that reflect the hotel’s luxury brand and commitment to excellence. Financial & Administrative • Manage all F&B budgets, monitor costs, and track revenue against targets. • Control inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to optimize quality and profitability. • Drive sales through innovative programming, upselling and guest engagement strategies. Qualifications: • 3–5 years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hotels, fine dining, or upscale boutique environments. • Strong knowledge of food and beverage trends, wine, and mixology. • Proven ability to manage budgets, drive revenue, and control costs. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills. • Hands-on, guest-centric approach with a keen eye for detail. • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation: $55,000 - $60,000 yearly
