We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities: • Handle customer complaints as necessary • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Must be able to work any shifts between the hours of 7 am and 11 pm. Weekends are required! • Schedule may fluctuate. Can work 0 to 40 hours in any given week. Qualifications: • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred Compensation: $16 - $16.50 hourly
