The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Contact housekeeping and/or maintenance departments when a problem is reported and perform basic maintenance so as to minimize out of order rooms • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy. • Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process • Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls • Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift Qualifications: • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required. • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Compensation: $17 hourly
