The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings. • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy. • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly. • Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process • Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift Qualifications: • Strong customer service skills with a guest-focused approach. • Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
