The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls • Take reservations in person, via email, or over the phone, including group bookings. • Welcome guests warmly, determine their needs, and manage the registration process. • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy. • Answer queries regarding the hotel’s services, charges, dining facilities, sports facilities, and travel directions Qualifications: • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Compensation: $15 - $16 hourly
