Responsibilities: • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information • Mitigate customer complaints as needed • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct • Be able to work on your feet for a typical shift for 8 hours at a time in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Qualifications: • High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • 1+ year of hotel industry experience or related job preferred • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours during a typical shift • Please only apply if you meet each of these criteria Compensation: $12 - $13 hourly
