Responsibilities: • General bookkeeping: ensure all hotel guest account information is accurate and up-to-date • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Mitigate customer complaints as needed • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate • Manage online and phone reservations Qualifications: • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred Compensation: $15.50+ hourly
