  • Responsibilities

    The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay, which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift • Take reservations over the telephone, through emails and in person, including groups • Contact housekeeping and/or maintenance departments when a problem is reported and perform basic maintenance so as to minimize out of order rooms • Greet guests and patrons to find out their room needs as well as the reason for their visit and manage the registration process • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions. Qualifications: • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required. Compensation: $14+ hourly depending on experience
