Myer Hotels is looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our hotel. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities: As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be: • Greet guests and owners on arrival. • Checking in/out guests. • Taking incoming calls and in-person bookings. Answering guests' questions about rates, availability, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests. • Generating reservation folios and collecting payments. • Receiving housekeeping and maintenance requests or work orders and contacting the appropriate department. • Preparing and consistently restocking the front desk supplies, including preparing arrival packets. • Selling show and attraction tickets upon request from guests through our online concierge service. • Performing other duties as assigned by your leader. Qualifications: • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred Compensation: $16 per hour + employee discounts
