You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Responsibilities: • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Perform regular bookkeeping duties: make sure hotel guest information is current and correct • Field customer complaints when necessary • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate • Manage online and phone reservations Qualifications: • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills • Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Compensation: $15.50+ hourly
