Responsibilities: • Give every guest a warm welcome, check them in, and check them out when they leave, ensuring you provide correct keys and room numbers • Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs • Communicate with housekeeping to make sure guest rooms are ready • Mitigate customer complaints as needed • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information Qualifications: • Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry as a hotel front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or guest service specialist preferred • Comfortable taking telephone calls and mitigating stressful situations • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills • Experience in customer service, ideally in the hospitality industry, to ensure every guest feels welcomed and valued. • Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with housekeeping and other departments. • Proficiency in using hotel management software to keep accurate records of guest accounts. • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our guests. • Attention to detail to ensure guests receive the correct keys and room numbers upon check-in and check-out. Compensation: $14 - $16 hourly
