    The Iron Horse Hotel is seeking an experienced, service-driven Front Office Manager to lead daily front desk operations and deliver exceptional guest experiences. This leadership role is responsible for managing front office staff, overseeing guest services, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining the hotel's high standards of hospitality. Responsibilities: Guest Experience & Service • Lead the front office team in delivering exceptional guest service from arrival through departure. • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining guest satisfaction. • Foster a culture of hospitality, accountability, and personalized service. • Ensure all guest interactions reflect The Iron Horse Hotel's brand standards and values. Operations Management • Oversee daily front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, reservations, and guest communications. • Monitor room inventory, occupancy levels, and rate strategies in collaboration with Revenue Management. • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety standards. • Maintain accurate guest records and financial transactions. **** Team Leadership • Recruit, train, coach, and develop front office associates and supervisors. • Create staff schedules and manage labor costs within budget guidelines. • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and professional development. • Promote teamwork and collaboration across all hotel departments. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities • Manage front office budgets and departmental expenses. • Review daily reports, revenue performance, and operational metrics. • Ensure accurate cash handling, auditing, and reporting procedures. • Support hotel leadership in achieving revenue and guest satisfaction goals. Qualifications: Required • Minimum 3–5 years of hotel front office experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality standards. • Experience with property management systems (PMS) and hotel reservation systems. • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. **** Preferred • Experience in a luxury, boutique, or upscale hotel environment. • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. • Familiarity with Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems. • Knowledge of revenue management and guest satisfaction programs.
