  • Responsibilities

    The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. • Recruit, train, and mentor hotel staff, fostering a culture of growth and teamwork. • Be present on property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team. • Perform administrative duties, such as payroll, bank deposits, and completing operational checklists. • Oversee daily operations, including room bookings, event planning, and maintenance. Qualifications: • 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred. • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Compensation: $82,000 - $92,000 yearly
