  • Responsibilities

    The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Inspect guest rooms and back-of-house areas to ensure compliance with brand and company standards. • Lead staff training meetings and ensure operational checklists and safety protocols are followed. • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team. • Handle guest complaints and queries, promoting exceptional customer service. • Oversee budgets, maximize revenue, and manage financial records to achieve financial goals. Qualifications: • 1 -3 years of previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or department manager preferred. • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Compensation: $60,000 yearly
