  • Responsibilities

    The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability Responsibilities: • Be present on property during shift changes to communicate priorities and support the team. • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards. • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise hotel staff to create a high-performing, guest-focused team. • Manage budgets, maximize revenue, and maintain financial and statistical records. • Conduct daily check-ins with department teams and lead training meetings to uphold service standards. Qualifications: • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR one to three years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience Compensation: $65,000
