As the next general manager of our busy hotel, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to lead our staff and provide our customers with the finest service possible. As the general manager, you will be in charge of human resource management functions such as interviewing, hiring, training, task assignment, coaching/counseling, and performance management. Responsibilities: • Establish the hotel's reputation for quality by inspecting rooms, public areas, and the surrounding grounds for cleanliness and upkeep • Facilitate strategic planning, objectives, and a timetable of action for hotel department leaders that meets overall hotel goals • Generate a budget that ensures guest satisfaction and quality of services while also keeping costs balanced and profit margins maximized • Construct and manage a straightforward and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities • Empower hotel staff to excel in superior guest service to drive financial success through strong leadership and creative operational strategies Qualifications: • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills • Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Must have at least 5 or more years of experience in the hospitality field Compensation: $70,000 - $75,000
