    Come join the Woodbury Corporation family of hotels as the Hotel General Manager at the new 131 room Fairfield Inn & Suites in Draper, UT. We are actively seeking an organized, motivated and enthusiastic team leader for this beautiful new property. This is a particularly compelling position as the person selected will open a brand new hotel and will:

    Manage the operational opening process which includes establishing vendor relationships, managing the opening critical path activities and timelines, recruiting and hiring staff, and establishing relationships with the local community.

    Assist with pre-opening sales and marketing effort.

    Work within the budgeted staffing model to hire departmental managers and line level staff as we approach the opening date (currently slated for Q1 of 2027).

    Work with the other Woodbury hotels in the area to help determine target accounts and market segments for this hotel.

    Become familiar with and aid in implementing all Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites standards and training programs.

    He or she will build a team and help create a property-specific culture within the Woodbury Corporation family of hotels.

    Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Vice President of Hotel Operations, the General Manager is responsible to manage hotel property operations on a day-to-day basis in order to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in:

    guest service and satisfaction

    associate (employee) leadership and engagement

    sales and marketing

    asset management/overall property appearance and maintenance

    brand management

    profitability/financial control

    Minimum Qualifications

    3 years of previous hotel management experience and preferably some exposure to both hotel operations and sales.

    Proficiency in written and verbal communication (ability to use conversational Spanish is helpful).

    Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, vendors, and associates.

    Strategic thinking, planning and execution to achieve topline results.

    Ability to organize and manage, prioritize and meet deadlines of multiple projects.

    Experience with hotel systems including: Property Management Systems, Revenue Management, Guest Satisfaction Surveys and Review Platforms, Sales, e-commerce, forecast and budgeting. Experience with Marriott systems is a plus.
