    The Marriott Tacoma Downtown is hiring a hotel group rooms coordinator. In this position, you will manage all aspects of group room reservations, acting as a liaison between clients and hotel departments. Key duties include creating and maintaining room blocks, processing reservations and rooming lists, ensuring billing accuracy, and coordinating with sales, front desk, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and meet contractual obligations. The role requires strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills to handle logistics for events like weddings, conventions, and corporate meetings. Responsibilities: • Reservation management: Accurately input and manage group room reservations, rooming lists, and modifications in the hotel's system. • Room block oversight: Create, monitor, and maintain room blocks, including tracking pickup, managing cutoff dates, and ensuring room inventory is used efficiently. • Liaison and communication: Serve as the central point of contact for group clients and communicate with internal departments (e.g., sales, front desk, catering, revenue management) about group needs and logistics. • Billing and contracts: Ensure correct billing information, advance deposits, and cancellation policies are set up for each group according to the contract. • Problem-solving: Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues, and manage last-minute changes or cancellations professionally. • Reporting: Run daily arrival and no-show reports, complete pickup reports, and attend weekly group meetings to discuss room status. Qualifications: • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent attention to detail. • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal). • Proficiency with hotel reservation systems. • Knowledge of hotel services and operations. • Marriott experience preferred but not required. Compensation: $24 Hourly
