Your tasks will range from keeping hallways and lobbies spotless to speaking to our guests, so they know they are appreciated for staying with us and being our best guests. Our goal is to ensure that everywhere a guest can go in our hotel, it will be fresh and cleaned by you, with the exception of our guest rooms; you are only responsible for all common areas and the pool area. Responsibilities: • When you arrive, you will check with the Breakfast Hostess and empty their trash. • Vacuum all carpets on each floor and in the lobby area. • Check each ice machine area, empty the trash, and make sure these areas are dusted, swept, and mopped daily. • On the second floor, you will clean the Guest Laundry Room. Dusting, sweeping, and mopping. Making sure this area is sparkling clean and ready for our guests to use. • Our two elevators must be cleaned daily. • On the first floor, we have a Fitness Center, and you will be responsible for keeping this room clean and fresh. Taking trash out and dirty towels to our laundry room. Wipe down all equipment so it is sanitized. Dust, sweep, and mop. This room is used often, so we must keep it clean and stocked. • Our Lobby Bathrooms are to be cleaned twice a day - once you arrive and before you leave at the end of the day. • Our entire lobby is to be dusted, swept, and mopped. • Ensure the Front Entrance Doors are cleaned, and all glass doors on the first floor. • Plants throughout the entire hotel will need to be watered. You will have a calendar to go by. • The pool area will need to be walked daily. Furniture wiped down, pick up any trash. • Help with all trash throughout the building as you are in each area. Qualifications: • Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience • Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills • Must have 1 or more years experience as a houseperson, housekeeper, or similar position in hospitality field Compensation: $12 hourly starting pay
