We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our hotel guests. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas to high standards to ensure every guest has an enjoyable stay. Daily responsibilities include making beds, changing and washing linens, dusting, mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, restocking supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of guest rooms and public areas. Attention to detail and pride in your work are essential in this role. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Applicants must have reliable personal transportation, be flexible with scheduling, and have no schedule restrictions, as shifts may vary based on hotel needs. Consistent attendance and a strong work ethic are required. Responsibilities: • Respond to general inquiries from guests • Manage the cleanliness of common spaces such as the hallways, public restrooms, and hotel lobby • Clean and arrange hotel rooms in accordance with our hotel’s standards prior to guest arrival • Write down what rooms were cleaned, report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed • Mop, vacuum, make beds, change sheets, do laundry, stock rooms, and do other cleaning duties as assigned • Clean and service guest rooms in accordance with IHG brand standards • Replace linens, towels, and amenities as required • Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, hallways, and service areas • Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, or safety concerns promptly • Follow proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment • Ensure all assigned rooms are cleaned and inspected within required timeframes • Adhere to hotel safety, security, and confidentiality policies • Work collaboratively with housekeeping supervisors and front desk staff Qualifications: • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills • Graduated high school, received G.E.D or equivalent • Over 1 year as a professional housekeeper strongly desired • Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products Qualifications & Requirements: • Minimum of 1 year hotel housekeeping experience required • Prior experience at an IHG-branded hotel preferred • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment • Reliable, punctual, and dependable attendance • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Compensation: $16.25 hourly
