    Position Title: Housekeeping Attendant / Room Attendant Department: Housekeeping Reports To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper Job Summary: The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and hotel spaces. This role ensures a high standard of guest satisfaction by creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Skills & Competencies • Attention to cleanliness and detail • Reliability and punctuality • Customer service mindset • Ability to follow instructions and procedures • Efficiency and organizational skills • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety standards Working Conditions • Fast-paced hospitality environment • Physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) • Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment • May work in varying temperatures and conditions Performance Expectations • Maintain high guest satisfaction scores related to cleanliness • Complete assigned rooms within standard time frames • Uphold the hotel brand and cleanliness standards consistently Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities • Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards (dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing, etc.) • Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest amenities • Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, and maintenance needs • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly • Clean and maintain public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms • Properly handle and store cleaning equipment and chemicals • Respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner • Follow hotel policies regarding safety, hygiene, and security • Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed • Ensure compliance with health and sanitation guidelines Qualifications: Qualifications & Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong attention to detail and time management skills • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks • Good communication and customer service skills • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts Compensation: $10 hourly
