  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a Housekeeper who will primarily be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of rooms and public spaces. The Housekeeper position will come in contact with guests and will need to have positive guest interactions by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Comply with all safety guidelines. • Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits. • Cleaning of hotel rooms including but not limited to dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, lobby, and common areas. • Clean guest rooms thoroughly, including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, and sanitizing bathrooms. • Pick up ground litter around the hotel or wherever visible. • Having a friendly and outgoing personality is most important, so that our Guests see a smiling and friendly face. • Getting along with your co-workers is also important to us. Everyone should always get along with each other. This is so important, as our guest can see if there is negative energy happening. • We have an Open Door Policy, so if you ever need to talk, you are more than welcome to come in and talk. You are responsible for letting us know if something is wrong, so we have the opportunity to help make it right. • Housekeepers have one of the hardest jobs in our hotel. Your work performance is vital to keep our guests coming back. This is the hardest and most important positions. We expect you to be able to put a smile on your face and be cordial, even if you don't feel like it. If you join our team, you are now in the world of Hospitality and Hospitality means BEING KIND TO ONE ANOTHER/EVERYONE. If you can't be this way, this most likely will not be the place for you. Qualifications: • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed. • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is preferred but not required—we welcome applicants at all experience levels. Compensation: $12 hourly starting pay
