The ideal candidate will be dividing their workweek between inspecting suites 3 days a week and cleaning guest suites during the remaining 2 work shifts. You must have previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: Guest Service-handles all guest interactions with professionalism and purpose Projects a professional image of the hotel (dress, appearance, etc.) Has a Friendly, personable style with guests. Anticipates customers' needs before they ask Responds promptly and follows through on guest complaints in an effective and friendly manner Recognizes and rewards effective guest service in housekeeping staff Exceeds guest expectations for service Meets or exceeds department guest service feedback/complaint goals. Reviews guest comment cards and complaint letters at department meetings Manages guest service problems with minimum assistance from leadership. Informs supervisor of serious issues Manages room cleaning operations to ensure methods meet company and brand standards. Keeps room cleaning deficiencies to a minimum Personally inspects rooms and public areas Monitors labor for the day, ensuring productivity standards remain on track Qualifications: • This position requires a high school diploma or GED • The ideal applicant is an experienced leader who demonstrates great attention to detail and customer service skills • Strong understanding of environmental services (EVS) including cleaning processes and how to use a variety of cleaning supplies and equipment • 2+ years of hospitality or guest services experience • At least 3 years of experience in a senior role in the housekeeping department Compensation: $19.50 - $20.50 hourly
