Join our Renaissance Baltimore Harbor Place Hotel as our Human Resources Manager. We’re in search of a highly motivated, people-friendly, organized human resources manager to lead our HR department. You will oversee all aspects of employee relations, including recruiting, onboarding, and training, play a key role in strategic planning and business administration, and ensure we are in compliance with the most recent employment laws. Ideal candidates are natural leaders, decision-makers, and team players. Responsibilities: • Act as the bridge between employees and managers and offer advice on key issues such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment • Narrow down the talent pool to highly-qualified candidates, interview the shortlist, and onboard and train new hires • Make sure internal documents, paperwork, reports, and records are accurate and up-to-date • Advise on key organizational policies, decision-making and strategic planning initiatives including business administration and annual budget • Optimize and enforce personnel policies and procedures Qualifications: • 3+ years as an HR manager, senior HR generalist, or in an upper-level HR position • Professional certification from the SHRM or similar organization • Excellent leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills • Hold a bachelor’s degree in HR management, business management, or a similar field • Hotel or hospitality HR experience is highly preferred. Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000 yearly
