The Laundry Attendant is primarily responsible for performing tasks such as washing, drying, and folding linens according to company quality standards. An attendant is often responsible for sorting items by color, weight, and fabric types and making sure items are washed in the proper machine cycle by performing the following duties. Responsibilities: • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management. • Take wet, clean items and dry as directed. • Being willing to help in other areas of the hotel if needed. • Sort the linens, treat any stains, and load the laundry into the washer with the specified cleaning agents. • Perform additional laundry services when necessary. Qualifications: • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds as needed. • No prior experience is required; all levels of applicants are welcome. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Compensation: $15 hourly
