Responsibilities: • Monitor all laundry equipment and notify the facilities manager of any maintenance requirements • Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions • Put all laundry in a washing machine and follow the manufacturer's directions for adding the cleaning chemicals • Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods Qualifications: • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products • This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly Compensation: $15.50 - $17 hourly
