Responsibilities: • Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low • Remove garments and lines after each wash cycle and dry according to specific manufacturer instructions • Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management • Put all laundry in a washing machine and follow the manufacturer's directions for adding the cleaning chemicals • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods Qualifications: • This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly • Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills • 1+ years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent certification • Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques Compensation: $25.90 per hour
