You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: • Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods • Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low • Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs • Dry clothing and linens after each wash cycle according to the manufacturer's instructions Qualifications: • Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills • Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent • This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly • 1+ years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position Compensation: $12.50 hourly
