You should ideally have experience with industrial washing products as well as the ability to lift 20 pounds or more on a consistent basis. Responsibilities: • Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations • Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed • Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager • Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs • Sort all linens to identify stains and treat stains with proper cleaning products and methods Qualifications: • We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds • At least 1 year of experience as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar role preferred • Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques • Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent • Hard worker with strong time management, organizational, and communication skills
