Lotus Hospitality is currently seeking a data-driven accountant to join our team in a pivotal role that encompasses all hotels in our portfolio. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger across our entire portfolio, ensuring the accuracy of financial information, and utilizing QuickBooks for efficient tracking. We are seeking candidates with a proven track record in problem-solving, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time efficiency. Must report to office everyday! (M-F) Responsibilities: • Oversee payroll so employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner • Prepare all financial statements and bank reconciliations • Make sure accounts payable/accounts receivable are processed efficiently • Properly record financial transactions • Ensure transactions are recorded properly in all ledgers Qualifications: • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems • Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills • At least 2 years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a cost accountant, management accountant, bookkeeper, or related position • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
