Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, ensuring guest rooms, equipment, and public areas remain in excellent working condition. Responsibilities: • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines • Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts Qualifications: • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required • Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required • Applicants must have 2-4 years of experience in maintenance Compensation: $16+ hourly
