Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria • Handle maintenance issues as quickly as possible to assure guest satisfaction • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff • Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Assuring the hotel is clean and trash-free Qualifications: • Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role • Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED • Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Compensation: $22 - $23 hourly
