Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures • Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments • Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade • Assuring the hotel is clean and trash-free Qualifications: • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED Compensation: $22 - $23 hourly
