You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. Responsibilities: • Remain on-call in case of emergencies by keeping a phone on hand • Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on all hotel equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, resolving issues efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction.Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement maintenance schedules that align with hotel operations.Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring minimal disruption to hotel services.Assist in the management of inventory for maintenance supplies, ensuring availability of necessary tools and materials.Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs, ensuring work meets the hotel's quality standards and timelines. Qualifications: • Must have a high school diploma or the equivalent GED • Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software • 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills • The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required Compensation: $16 - $18 hourly
