Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented Maintenance Engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of rooms and building maintenance, and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts • Keep an open line of communication with other team members and staff Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and good driving record required • You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role Compensation: $15 - $17 hourly
