Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans • Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly • Respond to emergencies that occur outside of regular working hours • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria • Must have basic knowledge of pool and spa equipment and operations. Be able to balance chemicals and keep equipment in proper working order. Qualifications: • Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required • You should have the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. • Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
