Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our guests have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's daily maintenance needs and preventative maintenance programs to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. Responsibilities: • Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues • Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines • React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts • Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment • Follow all engineering safety rules and regulations Qualifications: • Experience with facilities management software is preferred • This position requires occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required • You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role • Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory • Experience in carpentry, drywall, plumbing, flooring and HVAC is required • Must have, or be willing to get certified as a Certified Pool Operator Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 yearly
